1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Praevius (praevius.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

Praevius is a cloud-based cost control platform for construction professionals. The service includes:

  • Real-time budget tracking
  • AI-powered reporting
  • Variance analysis
  • Integration with third-party services
  • Data storage and export

3. Account Terms

  • You must be 18 years or older to use this service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • One person or legal entity per account
  • You may not use the service for illegal purposes

4. Payment Terms

  • Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
  • Payment is due at the start of each billing period
  • Refunds are available within 30 days of initial purchase
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

5. Data Ownership

  • You retain ownership of all data you input into Praevius
  • You grant us license to process your data to provide the service
  • We may use anonymised, aggregated data for analytics
  • You can export your data at any time
  • Upon account termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to breach security
  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission
  • Use automated systems to access the service beyond normal usage
  • Interfere with other users’ access to the service

7. Intellectual Property

  • Praevius and its content are protected by copyright and trademark
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software
  • Feedback you provide may be used to improve the service

8. Third-Party Integrations

  • We provide integrations with third-party services (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • These integrations are subject to their own terms of service
  • We are not responsible for third-party service availability or changes

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Accuracy of AI-generated reports
  • Compatibility with all systems
  • That the service will meet all your requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRAEVIUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages exceeding the amount paid in the preceding 12 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Praevius from any claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.

13. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • We may terminate accounts for violation of these terms
  • Upon termination, your access will end and data will be deleted per our retention policy

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
